BASL does not offer an Over 50 Division at this time.

BASL has established an Over 50 Travel Team pool of players which will practice and play games throughout the year in preparation for entering an O50 Travel Team [or two] in tournaments; specifically:

Charleston Tournament May 2008
Walt Disney World Soccer Classic January 2009
Florida State Cup February 2009

Larry Cobb will captain the O50 Travel Team's first outing to the Charleston Tournament over Memorial Day 2008.

At this time player names are being gathered to form the Over 50 player pool, which is anticipated to be 30 players.  To join the O50 player pool at this time you must turn 49 years old no later than December 31, 2008

There is no fee to register for the Over 50 Player Pool for BASL players currently playing in other BASL divisions.  Florida State registration and insurance requirements will have been met by current registrations in BASL Over 30 and Over 40 divisions.  Over 50 players who are not currently playing in BASL who wish to sign up for the Over 50 player pool will be required to pay a nominal Florida State registration fee.  Participation in Over 50 games and tournaments will require additional individual payments on an event by event basis, and travel and hotel fees will also be the responsibility of individual players.
